Deathwatch Club Officers
Watch Commander (President) - Ryan Couch - Responsible for the overall management of the club and ensuring each officer carries out their responsibilities appropriately. Prepares the agendas for meetings and ensures all members have a fair hearing at those meetings before any voting occurs. Will present an Annual Report on the club at the AGM. Counter-signs any cheques required. Initiates and maintains contact with other wargaming clubs or organizations. Specific responsibility for welcoming ‘Visitors’ to the club. Will liaise closely with Website Admins and Vice President over articles and features for the club website.
Watch Captain (Vice President) - Ian Schlientz - Responsible for the development and implementation of a publicity strategy, liaising with the Website Administration in particular. Specific responsibility for welcoming ‘Visitors’ to the club and supporting the President in developing links with other clubs. Will advise Officers on any specific publicity promotion that may be appropriate at a particular time or place. In addition, the Vice President will take on the duties of the President should the President resign, be dismissed, or become off duty for any reason.
Master of the Administratum (Treasurer) - Chris Highberg - Establishes a system for the collection of membership fees. Keeps accurate financial and member attendance records during the year and presents the committee with a quarterly financial assessment. Presents the club membership with a detailed Financial Report and statement of accounts at the AGM. Monitors club expenditure and signs any cheques required. The position of the Treasurer is reserved for the Store Manager of Area 51 Gaming & Collectibles as long as Area 51 G&C serves as the Club’s home base.
The Keeper (Historian) - Robert Raney - The historian will keep a record of the club’s accomplishments and activities for the year, take pictures at events, and organize an online archive of all events and pictures of said events. The Historian’s archive tells the story of the club for that year. In addition, will work in tandem with the Master of the Forge on the YouTube channel. Lastly, the Keeper will document all club attendance and meetings and post minutes to the club forums.
Master of the Forge (Webmaster): - Nick Meyer - Responsible for the development and maintenance of a club website. The website will cater for a club forum and articles of interest to club members and outside parties. It will also play a significant role in the publicity of the club. The Webmaster will need to liaise particularly closely with the Keeper over articles appearing on the website. In addition, the Master of the Forge will run, manage, and organize the club's YouTube channel and Facebook.
Master of Sanctity (Community Organizer) - Bill Zalman - Responsible for moderating and maintaining all Deathwatch community events. Assists Tournament Organizers in all tournaments and events as well as heads the annual Club Charity event.

Chief Apothecary (Terrain Officer) - Felipe Barreto - Responsibility for ensuring the club achieves its aim of providing a reasonable amount of terrain across all gaming interest areas and scales, including advising the committee on future terrain purchases. Responsible for ensuring the club has all terrain required for any demonstration game the club may put on. Supervise the storage of club terrain and maintain a record of any terrain removed from club by a member for maintenance. In addition, the Terrain Officer will organize and run a Terrain Team within the club to help construct and paint new terrain as well as repair and salvage old and damaged terrain. Lastly, the Chief Apothecary will be in charge of all Deathwatch AV property and will manage and track all club member use of said equipment.
