Emperor's Children - 3000 Points
Skitarii - 2250? 2000?
Mission - Into the breach! (custom done by Martin) - Mission goal was for the attacker to secure the single objective in the opponents deployment zone, Defender had to repel the attacker and maintain the objective.
Results: Minor victory for the Loyalists.

The defenders as they try to mass their armor to repel the loyalist advance, using the cold logic of reason the skitarii hold the first line with the Emperor's Children Armor holding the second with a mass infantry reserve as the final defensive line.  |

A lone skitarii walker charges forward to halt the imperial center with a bold charge, only to be brutally shot up by Imperial Fist meltaguns fired from the top hatch of a following rhino. But was his mission of delaying successful...?  |

The end of the game : Pollux and Templars from the 1st company swoop in on their transport in a daring pass, but they are unable to fully secure the objective like the depleted breacher squads could (as troops). Meanwhile, the Skitarii center has collapsed and the survivors cut down, as the Imperial Army holds its Leman Russ tank platoon just outside the objective range. Fortune was with the Loyalists, as the traitor infantry was also just out of range of the objective, giving the edge to the loyalists.  |
