The Lord Commander, Apothecary Rulthan, and the veterans of Squad Solis stood within the bowels of the forge moon. Sergeant Malius glanced around the spherical chamber which seemed to be formed entirely from a mass of cables. Servitors of all manner scuttled, flew, walked, and dragged their way this way and that, paying the Emperor's Children no mind. The muttering of the Apothecary on the squad comms was beginning to unnerve him, even more than the constructs that inhabited this moon.
Eventually a figure seated on a throne in the center of the room raised it's head, looking directly at the Lord Commander with a multitude of optics and sensors. "I have deliberated with my subordinates and have decided to ally ourselves with you. Assuming you accept all of our demands the entire force of this forge moon is at your disposal."
The Lord Commander gave a curt nod and extended his hand out. "We look forward to combining our strength to defeat the Warmaster and his traitorous followers." The figure rose from its throne on a mass of cables and moved forward to take his hand.
"This is absurd!" Shouted Apothecary Rulthan suddenly. The servitors, the Emperor's Children, and the figure all turned to look at him. "Lord Commander you must not ally yourself with this...filth!"
"Watch your Tongue Rulthan," growled the Lord Commander.
"But you saw for yourself on the surface! The Adsecularis were nothing more than corpses brought to life with foul machine and Black Alchemistry!" He hissed, his voice cracking through his chest vox.
"You think I didn't see that? You don't think of how that weighs on my conscience?" Rulthan fell silent. "We have precious few brothers left and any chance that I can take to strengthen our force I will. The Imperium has already labeled us traitors because of our F...the Primarch's actions. We have no one left to turn to but I mean to fight on. I will breath my last to put the Warmaster, his legions, and especially our traitorous former brothers to the sword..." Squad Solis hung their heads as the Lord Commander spoke "...by any means necessary." He emphasized his statement by taking the figures hand.
"Excellent. Excellent. I will send Magi to inspect your vehicles at once. You may return to your Battle Barge," the figure spoke as the Emperor's Children turned and walked out of the chamber.
